Our Theme

Krishi Thotagarike mela will be organized with the theme on “Innovative Agriculture for Drought Management” 

Krishi-Thotagrike Mela-2026 is a four days Agriculture and Horticultural Exhibition scheduled on Oct 30 – Nov 2 at the College of Agriculture, Navile Shivamogga.

This year’s Mela will showcase innovative technologies & emerging approaches in agriculture and horticulture aimed at enhancing productivity, profitability, draught mitigation, resource-use efficiency and sustainability

 

Awards & Honors

During the Mela, “Best Men & Women Farmers” from the six districts under the University’s jurisdiction will be recognized and honored for their contributions to agriculture and allied activities. “Best stall exhibitors” will also be felicitated for showcasing innovative technologies and products.

The Mela is expected to attract nearly ten lakh farmers and stakeholders, with around 400 agri-based companies and institutions participating. The event will provide a vibrant platform for agri-preneurs, government departments, research institutions and NGO’s to showcase innovations, promote technology adoption, build meaningful linkages and contribute to the vision of “Innovative Agriculture for Drought Management”
