• To strengthen strategic planning and institutional development in alignment with the University’s vision and national priorities.
• To ensure effective planning, monitoring, and evaluation of teaching, research, extension, and developmental programmes under the guidance of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor
• To promote quality assurance, institutional accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.
• To facilitate informed policy formulation and decision-making through reliable data, analysis and performance assessment.
• To foster coordination among academic, research, extension and administrative units for effective institutional governance.

The PME Cell, coordinated by the Nodal Officer, undertakes the following major activities:

  1. Preparation and publication of the University’s Annual Report.
  2. Maintenance of the University Data Bank based on information received through Annual Reports and other official sources.
  3. Maintenance and monitoring of the University’s biometric attendance records.
  4. Collection, compilation, validation, analysis and dissemination of institutional data.
  5. Preparation and submission of ICAR Annual Progress Reports.
  6. Coordination and preparation of Self-Study Report (SSR) for ICAR and NAAC accreditation at the University and constituent college levels.
  7. Collection, compilation and submission of data for NIRF and other national ranking frameworks.
  8. Processing and prioritization of institutional project proposals and adhoc projects with respect to ICAR.
  9. Administration of scholarship-related activities through the National Fellowship for Scheduled Caste (NFSC) Portal and the CSIR-HRD New Fellowship Management System (NFMS) Portal.
  10. Coordination and submission of reports sought by Government departments, ICAR, accreditation agencies, funding organizations and statutory authorities.
  11. Undertaking special assignments and other responsibilities entrusted by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and the University authorities from time to time.
